NATURE MORT IN PLATINUM
These compositions are arrangements of selected objects that possess symbolic significance of ‘time’ and ‘place’ in my life. The photographs function as equivalent portraits of the people who possessed the objects. In these objects memories long forgotten come back to me with a new significance. This is after all one of the great powers of the photograph – to preserve a moment in space/time which only grows in value with the passing of time.
