NUDES IN PLATINUM
These sensual and at times erotic images are representative of my personal interpretations of the female human body as a “classic nude”. Natural light and studio light apply chiaroscuro and tenebrism to describe and emphasize the body as form, shape, texture and line. The model functions as a muse - (in Greek and Roman mythology) each of nine goddesses, the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, who preside over the arts and sciences. The models provide a source of inspiration for me instilling a renewed sense of passion to create better works. The photographs succeed only in as much as they are a successful collaboration between artist and muse.
