TRINITY
A series of visual and conceptual investigations on the possibilities of repurposing a selection of my vintage platinum prints with overprinting of appropriated imagery from the Italian Renaissance and Japanese Ukiyo-e “Floating World” images. The series is called “Trinity” as I have used a combination of three media to create the images – an original platinum print photograph, an over printed pigment print from appropriated imagery from the Italian Renaissance or Japanese Ukiyo-e prints, and hand draw/painted markings directly on the print.
