These images reflect my idea of the evanescent world, taken from the Japanese concept of Ukiyo-e, or pictures from the floating world - impermanent, fleeting beauty - a realm of performance, sensuality and forbidden pleasures divorced from the mundane responsibilities of the everyday world.
